KROSS Videos

This page contains a selection of the videos showing HST images and KMOS dynamics of galaxies at z~1 from the KROSS survey. The dynamics of the galaxies are used to annimate the HST images (at the inclination from and position angle from HST), with the rotation speed and dynamical position angle set by the KMOS velocity field.

This video shows some examples of galaxies with later-type morphologies in KROSS, with the annimation (left panel) set by their dynamics (right panel).

This video shows some examples of the earlier type galaxies in KROSS viewed from the Hubble Telescope.
