Please note that the method described in
Cole 2011 is more general than the implementation provided by this code.
For example, the general method can deal with each galaxy having an
individual k-correction and with magnitude limits in more than one
band. However the code as presented assumes a global k+e correction
(which can contain a parameter which is solved for) and a catalogue
defined by a magnitude limit in a single band.
