Internal Information
New Starters
If you've recently arrived to the Durham University astronomy group, welcome! Please see our new starters guide to find useful information for new members of staff, postdocs, and students. Also, feel free to reach out to any member of our community, and we'll do our best to make you feel welcome upon your arrival to Durham.
Seminars, clubs and events
We organise weekly colloquia and seminars that cover a wide range of astronomy topics, delivered by excellent speakers. If you'd like to read more about the weekly seminars currently being organised, see our seminar listings. Members of the community also organise discussion groups, journal clubs, and topic specific meetings; you can find out more on our clubs and events page.
