By Bus
Bus travel time from Rome FCO airport to Vasto is approximately 3.5-4 hours.
We will organise dedicated busses for participants landing and leaving from Rome FCO airport. The one way cost is expected to be 40 Euros.
If you have not filled out the transfer request form but would like to use the busses, please let us know by email.
FCO-Vasto busses will leave from outside of Terminal 3 from Rome FCO airport and can be identified by the sign with the VAM logo on it.
Vasto-FCO busses will pick-up participants from both Vasto Marina and Vasto city.
WEEK 1
FCO -> Vasto: Saturday 21 June departing at 13:00pm.
Vasto -> FCO: Saturday 28 June departing from Vasto at 5:45am.
WEEK 2
FCO -> Vasto: Saturday 28 June departing at 13:00pm.
Vasto -> FCO: Saturday 5 July departing from Vasto at 5:45am.

When selecting the arrival location, select "Vasto (Terminal)" or "Vasto"
By Taxi from PSR airport
Several participants will be arriving/departing to/from Pescara PSR airport.
Taxi fares from PSR to Vasto are between 100-120 Euro. Larger 9-seater vans are 200 Euro.
If you'd like to share a taxi with other participants, please let us know by email if you haven't done so already and we can book those if required.
By Car
Parking in Vasto city can be limited at times.
We have organised a special rates with the parking lot
Multipiano for participants.
On arrival, proceed and collect a ticket from the machine at the entrance as you normally would.
On Monday (or whenever you have a spare moment) go back to the parking lot infopoint and exchange your collected ticket (showing your VAM badge) for a parking card which will be valid for the entire week.
By Train
If arriving by train at the Vasto-S.Salvo train station, you can take a taxi or local busses to your accomodation. See the taxi section for phone numbers and the local bus transport timetable.
