The conference will take place at the historic Palazzo d'Avalos, and will be able to accomodate up to 125 participants. The venue will include the usual audio/visual equipment, and we will endevour to provide wi-fi for participants. There will be ample room for posters. Coffee/tea breaks and welcome receptions are planned to be held in the beautiful gardens of the Palazzo D'Avalos during both weeks:

Several end-of-day "aperitivi" (pre-dinner drinks & snacks) are also planned during both conference weeks.

During both VAM weeks particapants are also free to use the city library during opening hours (9am-1pm & 4pm-7pm). The library is a short 5-10 minute walk from Palazzo D'Avalos. As well as wi-fi, the library hosts a meeting room (~10 people) equipped with a projector that participants can use (good for small science meeting break-outs).
