Social Commitee

The OCW Social Committee puts fun events together e.g. the 'Astromentation' welcome party in Michaelmas term, the Christmas party etc.
Currently (2022) consists of Dreia Carrillo, Catherine Cerny, Azi Fattahi, Francesca Fragkoudi, Mathilde Jauzac, David Lagattuta, Isabel Santos-Santos and Nancy Patel.

Regular events

• Cakes for Good: Raises money for charities proposed by members of our department. Occurs once a month on Mondays at 11am. Organisers: Carolina Andonie, Martina Veresvarska, and Leah Morabito.
• Friday drinks: To celebrate the coming of Friday afternoon! Every Friday 4:45pm (except when "Borrell" is on, see below), meet at OCW entrance, and then stroll together to the pub (usually Half Moon Inn).
• "Borrell" From the Dutch - an informal social gathering with drinks and snacks. Every 2nd Friday of the month at 4:45pm on the OCW first floor. N.B. bring spare change! Organiser: Simone Scaringi.
